About
Lorenzo Fossati gained his MA and PhD in Philosophy from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan in 2000 and 2004 respectively. During his studies, he was awarded two sholarships from the Deutsche Akademischer Austauschdienst to pursue his research in Munich and Dresden. Between 2005 and 2007, he was a postdoctoral researcher in Philosophy in Faculty of Education of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. In 2007, he was appointed Researcher in History of Philosophy. He teaches "History of Philosophy" as part of the BA programme in Education at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and "Current Philosophical Topics" at the Specialised School for Teachers at Libera Università of Bolzano. Since 2003, he collaborates with the Applied Philosophy Institute of Lugano (Switzerland), where he now teaches "History of Modern Philosophy" and "Epistemology".
